Awareness & Fundraising collection with Alzheimer's Research UK @ Tesco Extra, Balby

Help us turn pennies into pounds in the lead up to Christmas by volunteering your time with Alzheimer's Research UK.

Friday 15th December 2023, 9:00am - 5:00pm ( you would be welcome to volunteer with us all day, or for as much time as you are able to, e.g., 9-11am, 11am-1pm, 1-3pm, 3-5pm, AM or PM).

As an Event volunteer, you will be:

Offering shoppers the chance to give a donation via the bucket collection
Handing out charity information as/where requested by the public
Positively engaging with the public and raising funds via the collection
Being a welcoming face as people enter and leave the supermarket
Raising awareness of Alzheimer's Research UK
You will receive a full briefing ahead of the event, and instructions on the day from a member of our team.

You can also be reimbursed for reasonable out of pocket expenses such as travel. Some food costs can also be reimbursed if you volunteer for a set time, as set out in our Volunteer Expenses Policy.
