21-Year Old Man critically injured after collision in Doncaster

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Doncaster on Wednesday (17 February).

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Doncaster on Wednesday (17 February).

At around 2pm, the man, a delivery driver for Amazon, was delivering parcels in Barnby Dun Road, Clay Lane when he was reportedly struck by an orange Nissan Note.

The 21-year-old was rushed to hospital where his condition is described as life threatening.

The driver of the Nissan stopped immediately and is currently assisting South Yorkshire Police with enquiries. However, they are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or either party prior, to get in touch. They are especially keen to hear from anyone with dash cam footage.
